Hyundai Motor India has launched the all-new 2025 Hyundai Venue compact SUV in India, with prices starting from ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated model comes with increased dimensions, refreshed interiors, advanced connectivity features, and a comprehensive suite of safety technologies, while retaining its proven petrol and diesel engine options.

The 2025 Venue adopts Hyundai’s latest global design language, featuring quad-beam LED headlamps, twin-horn LED DRLs, and horizon-style LED light bars at the front and rear.

A dark chrome radiator grille, redesigned C-pillar garnish, and bridge-type roof rails add to its sportier and more premium stance. The rear glass now carries an integrated VENUE badge, while R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels complete the exterior update.

Interior and Features

Inside, the compact SUV gets dual-tone interiors finished in dark navy and dove grey. The cabin is headlined by a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display that integrates the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.

Other highlights include terrazzo-textured crash pads, ambient lighting, a redesigned centre console, and dual-tone leather upholstery with VENUE branding. Rear passengers benefit from two-step reclining seats, window sunshades, rear AC vents, and enhanced legroom, courtesy of the extended wheelbase. The driver’s seat is now 4-way electrically adjustable.

Dimensions and Powertrain

The new Venue measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,665 mm in height, with a 2,520 mm wheelbase—20 mm longer than the outgoing version.

It continues to be powered by three engine options:

  • 1.2L Kappa Petrol: 81.8 bhp, 115 Nm
  • 1.0L Turbo Petrol: 118.3 bhp, 172 Nm
  • 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel: 114.4 bhp, 250 Nm

Transmission options include manual, automatic, and dual-clutch (DCT) systems.

Variants and Colours

Hyundai has introduced a new ‘HX’ variant nomenclature replacing the previous trim names. The petrol range spans HX2 to HX10, while diesel options include HX2, HX5, HX7, and HX10. Colour choices include six monotone options — Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red and Abyss Black — and two dual-tone combinations: Hazel Blue with Abyss Black roof and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.

Safety and Technology

The 2025 Venue is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense ADAS Level 2 technology, featuring 16 driver-assistance systems such as Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Junction Turning Assist.

It offers over 65 safety features in total, with 33 standard across all variants. Key inclusions are six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control, Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, Surround View Monitor, all-wheel disc brakes, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline). The SUV’s body structure comprises 71 per cent high-strength steel for enhanced crash protection.

With its refreshed styling, larger footprint, and upgraded technology, the 2025 Hyundai Venue aims to strengthen Hyundai’s position in India’s highly competitive compact SUV segment.
