Thamma box office day 13: Ayushmann Khurrana-Rashmika Mandanna film maintains a steady graph, collects Rs 120 crore

Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy ‘Thamma’ has crossed Rs 120 crore at the domestic box office. The film earned Rs 4.25 crore on its second Sunday, with a 26.78 percent Hindi occupancy. Ayushmann also shared insights into his improvised ‘Vikaspuri ke Wolverine’ line and the film’s positive reception, especially from children.

Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rashmika Mandanna, has maintained a steady graph after its release. The film has done an overall collection of Rs 120 crore at domestic box office.

Second Sunday performance

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the horror-comedy earned Rs 4.25 crore on its second Sunday, taking its overall collection to Rs 120.05 crore. Thama had an overall 26.78 percent Hindi occupancy on Sunday, November 02, 2025.

Week-wise earnings

The Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer collected Rs 108.4 crore in its first week [Rs 107.52 crore in Hindi and Rs 88 lakh in Telugu]. On day 11, it added Rs 3 crore, followed by Rs 4.4 crore on day 12.

Ayushmann on ‘Vikaspuri ke Wolverine’ line

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann Khurrana was asked about the now-viral line “Vikaspuri ke Wolverine.” The actor revealed, “That was my improv. Delhi mein meri pehli job thi (I did my first job in Delhi). Delhi is like a second home. Toh mujhe laga ki wahan ka local flavor aana chahiye, aur jaise kehte hain alliteration, anupras alankar, toh wohi—‘Vikaspuri ke Wolverine’ mein bhi ek vibe thi (I thought a local flavor should come in, and like we say alliteration, so ‘Vikaspuri ke Wolverine’ had that kind of vibe).”Ayushmann also spoke about his camaraderie with Varun Dhawan. The Dream Girl actor shared that both he and Varun began their careers in the same year. “He’s one of the nicest guys and a very good co-actor (bohot acha co-actor hai),” Ayushmann said.

Audience response and kids’ reaction

In the same interview, Ayushmann spoke about the audience’s reception of the film and the viral scene. He said that children, in particular, are loving the visuals and overall experience of ‘Thamma’. “Especially Bhediya aur ‘Thamma’ ka jo fight hua tha (especially the fight between Bhediya and Thamma). I think those set pieces were really enjoyed by kids.
