Shah Rukh Khan gave Bollywood cinema some of its most iconic films from ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, ‘Devdas’ to ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Pathaan’. While the world knows him as the superstar who made his big-screen debut with ‘Deewana’ in 1992, not many know that SRK first won hearts on television. Before entering Bollywood, he worked in TV shows, and one of his earliest performances came in the show ‘Fauji’, where he played a young army cadet.

At that time, his co-stars did not even know that sitting with them was someone who would become a global icon, a superstar of Bollywood, and would later be called the ‘King of Bollywood’.

About ‘Fauji’

‘Fauji’ marked Shah Rukh Khan’s acting debut in 1988, where he played Abhimanyu Rai, a young and mischievous army recruit. The show followed the training of Indian Army commando regiments. The drama is known for its realistic portrayal of army life. Directed by Lt. Col. Raj Kumar Kapoor. Raj Kumar Kapoor. The ‘Fauji’ series has 13 episodes, each 24 minutes long. Alongside SRK, Vijay Mathur, Rakesh Sharma, Mazhar Khan, and Vikrant Kapoor played pivotal roles. Shah Rukh Khan also works in more television shows, such as ‘Circus’, ‘Dil Dariya’, and ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’
