Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan rang in his 60th birthday, far away from the cheering crowds outside Mannat for a simple and more intimate affair at his Alibaug home. As fans and the media had their eyes peeled to the Mannat gate, wondering if the superstar would make an appearance at midnight to mark the milestone birthday with his fans, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan dropped a couple of pics from the private birthday bash.

Farah shares first photos from SRK’s birthday bash

Taking to Instagram, Farah shared candid photos of herself hugging and kissing the birthday boy as they celebrated the special day with an intimate gathering. The image showed Shah Rukh dressed in a grey tee and matching beanie while rocking baggy pants. Farah opted for a casual pink top which she paired with pants. Sharing the photos she wrote, “Happy birthday KING @iamsrk .. rule for another 100 years.”

SRK celebrates his birthday with close friends and family

According to reports, the low-key celebration was attended by SRK’s inner circle, including Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Navya Naveli Nanda, among others. Guests had arrived in Alibaug earlier in the evening by ferry, ahead of the midnight festivities. Farah had also shared a video with KJo from the ferry, revealing the plans for the special day.

Fans celebrate outside Mannat

Fans, although a bit disappointed over the actor’s no-show at Mannat, continued the celebrations nonetheless, by singing the birthday song for SRK, cutting cakes, dancing and more.
