It’s that time of year again when fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, flock outside his Bandstand home Mannat for the actor’s highly awaited appearance on his birthday. On Saturday, November 1, fans who travelled the distance to be a part of the festivities and made their way to the actor’s residence, hoping that he will make an appearance at midnight.

Dressed in T-shirts bearing his photos, holding posters and banners, fans reportedly began assembling outside Mannat hours before midnight. Videos from the scene showed the area buzzing with excitement, with chants of “Shah Rukh Khan,” “Happy Birthday,” and cheers outside his residence gates.

Fans await midnight appearance

Despite ongoing renovation work at the actor’s bungalow, the crowd showed no signs of turning away, hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar’s traditional midnight appearance. This year, the occasion is extra special as Shah Rukh turns 60. Fans and various fan clubs took to social media to share clips of the ongoing makeover at Mannat. While portions of the facade remain under scaffolding, SRK’s loyal fans had no qualms posing with the sign at the gate. Another video saw men with hard hats working around the gate area, prompting many to speculate that Khan may make his appearance after all. In an ‘Ask SRK’ chat with fans, the actor even teased his appearance. He tweeted, “Of course but may have to wear a hard hat!!!”

Farah Khan and Karan Johar head to Alibaug

Meanwhile, the actor’s close friends have all headed over to Alibaug, to celebrate his birthday at his beach house. Karan Johar and Farah Khan shared a video of themselves on a ferry en route to Alibaug to join Khan as he rings in his special day.

King first look to be out tomorrow

Meanwhile, on the professional front, director Siddharth Anand is rumoured to be releasing the first look at Khan’s upcoming action movie ‘King’. In the days leading up to the actor’s birthday, he shared a series of tweets that read, “REMEMBER THERE IS ONLY ONE…” It didn’t take fans too long to predict the statement, saying, “REMEMBER THERE IS ONLY ONE KING!” The film will see the superstar team up with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film will also star Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, and many others. Go to Source
