Emraan on son’s reaction to his cameo in Ba***ds of Bollywood

'You have ruined things for me in school': Emraan Hashmi reveals his son Ayaan's reaction to his cameo in Aryan Khan's Ba***ds of Bollywood

Emraan Hashmi’s cameo as an intimacy coach in Aryan Khan’s “Ba***ds of Bollywood” went viral, much to his son Ayaan’s embarrassment at school. Hashmi revealed the scene was a last-minute change, with SRK approving the concept. The cameo’s unexpected popularity was confirmed by a call from Netflix’s head, highlighting its massive impact.

Emraan Hashmi’s special cameo in Aryan Khan’s Ba***ds of Bollywood went viral and became a huge hit with fans. However, it looks like not everyone was impressed. His son Ayaan Hashmi didn’t have the best reaction to it.

Ayaan’s hilarious reaction to Emraan’s viral scene

Spilling the beans on the same, Emraan told HT City, “Okay, I don’t know if I should say this on camera, but he’s… he’s really embarrassed about it. In school, you have these societies where you teach stuff or do your own bit. So all his friends are saying now, why don’t you become an intimacy coach?” Smiling, he continued, “I shouldn’t be saying this. So he’s like, ‘you have ruined things for me in school, and this is the running joke’. He also says, ‘every day I come to school, this is what I have to face… so would you just stop.’”

How the viral cameo came to life

Sharing the story behind his viral cameo, the actor shared, “Coming to that line… first of all, a masterstroke from the writers, friend of mine Bilal, Aryan, entire team. And a bit of trivia, two things actually. That was not the original scene that was written for me. It was actually me at a film premiere where there is a fan, and that is Raghav, and he sees me, and there’s this little bit where he starts singing about me. And I think one month before the film shoot, this was locked, as an intimacy coach, and it was bounced off me. Aryan called up, and Bilal asked me ‘Are you okay playing an intimacy coach?’ I was like, ‘If I can’t do it, no one else can do it. ’ So I think they also took it to Mr SRK and he loved the idea and the change. And then finally, we shot this scene. And that scene was like, there was a bit of improv in it. I think Raghav crying was something that had us in splits also, because we didn’t expect that he was going to go that over the top with that scene. But he was mindblowing.”

Unexpected call after the scene went viral

Elaborating further, he added, “I think due credit to the way he’s done it, Lakshya, the entire, all the artists over there. And that’s the thing, you don’t know what goes viral, what sticks with the audience. I didn’t know because I don’t generally get on social media. I got a call from Netflix 6 hours after, I think the next morning, from the head of Netflix. She said ‘You know, Emraan, how viral this has gone, this is unbelievable. People are coming to the third episode and consuming just for that. It’s just insane!’ So, yeah, it’s nice to get that.” Go to Source
