Oti Cabadas, known to her fans as “Coco Trucker Girl,” was a cheerful Spanish truck driver and influencer loved by many for her happy trucking videos. She suddenly fell ill after attending a truck meet in Alcañiz, Spain, on October 26, 2025. Oti Cabadas was rushed by air to Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza. Sadly, she passed away at just 41 after suffering a stroke. Fans and drivers across Spain are heartbroken.

Oti Cabadas followed her dream of driving trucks

Oti Cabadas was born in Galicia, Spain. As a teenager, she wanted to be a hairdresser, but she chose to follow her passion for trucks instead. At 22, she began driving and spent more than 20 years on the road. She became known as “Coco Trucker Girl” after sharing joyful TikTok videos about her life behind the wheel. Her “Red Lip Fridays” trend encouraged women truck drivers to feel proud and confident. Many young women joined trucking because of her.

What happened to Oti Cabadas after the Alcañiz truck event

Oti Cabadas attended the 10th Annual Meet-Up of Classic and American Trucks in Alcañiz, Spain, on October 25–26, 2025. She looked happy in her last social media posts from the event. While returning home, she suddenly collapsed and was taken by helicopter to Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza. Doctors said she suffered a severe stroke. Despite efforts to save her, she sadly passed away soon after. Her death shocked fans across TikTok and the Spanish trucking community.

The Spanish Confederation of Freight Transport confirmed her death in an official statement. They said Oti Cabadas inspired many women to join trucking and gave visibility to female drivers. Spanish media outlets like El Mundo and La Vanguardia also confirmed her cause of death as a stroke.
