Manasi Parekh and veteran actor Tiku Talsania have found themselves in legal trouble after videos of them performing dangerous bike stunts on Ahmedabad’s busy roads went viral. The stunts were reportedly filmed to promote their upcoming Gujarati film Misri. Now it has raised serious concerns about road safety.In one of the viral clips, Manasi is seen striking the iconic Titanic pose while standing on a moving bike. Another video shows Talsania standing up as he rides. The sequence which was shot amidst traffic, sparked immediate backlash online, with many calling it an “irresponsible act” that could have endangered lives.

Legal action initiated by Ahmedabad Police

Taking cognisance of the videos doing the rounds on social media, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police swiftly acted against the actors. In an official post on X (formerly Twitter), they confirmed that Crime Register No. 11191051250588/2025 had been filed at the ‘A’ Division Traffic Police Station. The case has been registered under BNS Section 281 and Motor Vehicles Act Sections 177 and 184, pertaining to reckless and negligent driving endangering human life.The police emphasised that “legal action has been initiated,” signalling that the matter is being treated seriously. While neither of the actors have issued a public statement yet, the controversy continues to gather momentum on social media platforms.

Mixed reactions from the public

Social media users remain divided and some condemning the duo for setting a poor example, while others believe the act was a creative but misguided promotional attempt. Many, however, have urged stricter enforcement against such public stunts.
