Telugu actor Allu Sirish and his fiancee Nayanika were set for a dreamy outdoor engagement in Hyderabad on October 31, but the arrival of Cyclone Montha brought heavy rain and strong winds, forcing a last-minute change in plans.

Allu Sirish shares glimpse of drenched decor

Taking to Instagram Stories, Sirish shared a photo of the rain-soaked courtyard that was originally planned as the engagement venue. The picture showed a glass canopy, chairs, and floral arrangements—all drenched by the downpour. He captioned the image, “Planned for an outdoor winter engagement. But the Weather Gods have other plans!”

Ceremony to go ahead as planned — indoors

According to Telugu360, despite the cyclone’s disruption, the engagement ceremony will proceed on schedule. The couple has moved the event indoors to ensure the celebrations continue without weather-related interruptions.The engagement will be a private family gathering attended by some of Telugu cinema’s biggest names. The guest list includes Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family, Ram Charan and Upasana, and the newlyweds Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi.

Sharing a romantic picture of the couple holding hands in Paris, the actor wrote, “Today, on the birth anniversary of my grandfather, Allu Ramalingaiah garu, I feel blessed to share something very close to my heart — my engagement to Nayanika.”He also remembered his late grandmother in the same post, penning an emotional message: “My grandmother, who recently passed away, always wished to see me married. Though she isn’t here with us, I know she is blessing us from above as we begin this journey together. It means everything to us that our families have embraced our love with such joy.”So far, Sirish has kept Nayanika’s identity private, choosing not to reveal her face publicly.
