When Boney Kapoor revealed Janhvi’s odd habits

When Boney Kapoor revealed Janhvi Kapoor’s odd habits; joked, 'I am grateful that she flushes the toilet herself'

Boney Kapoor made the audience chuckle while offering some humorous insight into his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. This humorous yet sentimental talk included Boney sharing Janhvi’s deep attachment to her late mother, Sridevi, and how much she relied on her for ‘everything’.

Sridevi’s worries about Janhvi’s independence

Boney explained that when Janhvi first told her mother that she wanted to be an actor, Sridevi immediately panicked. She was stressed about how Janhvi would survive without her constant care. “Janhvi was so attached to her mother. She needed her every morning and even while sleeping,” Boney indicated. When Janhvi told her parents she decided she was going to Los Angeles to study acting, Sridevi was apprehensive – she was unsure how Janhvi would manage on her own without her support. Boney reassured her, saying it was necessary for every child to learn to “figure out how to survive on their own”.

Janhvi’s funny confession

Adding her own sense of humor to the story, Janhvi joked that although she managed to live alone in LA, she “didn’t learn anything.” The lighthearted moment perfectly captured the father-daughter bond, blending warmth and wit.

Boney’s playful revelations

Things started to get funny when Boney explained Janhvi’s weird ways. He mentioned that she still does not tidy up her room and always leaves the cap off her toothpaste. With a big laugh, Boney added, “At least I am grateful that she flushes the toilet herself.” Janhvi shyly protested while the audience laughed.

Janhvi’s work front

Fast-forward to this year, Janhvi Kapoor has continued to make her mark in Bollywood with a diverse slate of films. She was seen in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ alongside Rohit Saraf, Varun Dhawan, and Sanya Malhotra; ‘Homebound’ with Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa; and ‘Param Sundari’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Up next, she will be seen in ‘Peddi’ with Ram Charan.
