Bihar Election Heats Up: Violence And Public Anger Erupt Across Campaign Trail

As Bihar gears up for the first phase of voting on November 6, the state’s political atmosphere has turned increasingly tense. Candidates from major parties are holding massive rallies and door-to-door campaigns, but tensions are rising on the ground. In Gaya’s Tekari, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader and NDA candidate Anil Kumar was attacked during a roadshow, stone-pelting and firing left him and several supporters injured. Police are investigating the violent incident.In Katihar’s Khuradhar village, Left-backed MLA Mahboob Alam faced public anger when voters confronted him over development issues, forcing him to leave mid-discussion. Meanwhile, in Hajipur, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav’s convoy faced protests and stone-pelting from agitated locals during his campaign.These incidents reveal the rising violence, protests, and voter frustration that have come to define Bihar’s election season, as parties intensify efforts to win public support ahead of the polls.
