Shah Rukh Khan set to ring his 60th birthday at his Alibaug home: Exclusive

Bollywood’s ‘Badshah’ Shah Rukh Khan is set to celebrate his 60th birthday on November 2 with a grand family and friends gathering at his Alibaug residence. This milestone celebration, coinciding with his upcoming film ‘King’, is fueling speculation about a potential surprise reveal. After a successful return to the big screen, SRK continues to reign supreme.

Shah Rukh Khan popularly known as the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ is all set to turn 60 on November 2. Keeping up with his inimitable style, the actor has decided to spend his special day with his family and friends at his Alibaug home. Sources have exclusively told ETimes that invites have already gone out to his close ones to head to his Alibaug place and they will be reaching his place from 1st November onwards and they will be bringing in his birthday with a lot of fanfare. When in Mumbai, SRK usually prefers to spend his birthdays at his place Mannat as it gives a chance for his fans to see him and wish him on his special day. But for a few months his iconic Bandra bungalow has been under renovation which has made the entire family shift to a different location on rent. This was also one of the main reasons to move the party to his Alibaug place and it is not everyday that King Khan turns sixty, so many special things have been planned for his birthday at Alibaug.

What adds to the buzz?

The timing coincides with his eagerly awaited action-thriller ‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand. Khan’s next major release is producing strong speculation within entertainment circles that the birthday may double up as a platform for a surprise reveal tied to the film. During recent weeks, fans were already abuzz when a purported CBFC certificate for ‘King’ circulated online and triggered the rumor mill. King would be Shah Rukh Khan’s first film with his daughter Suhana Khan, he and Siddharth have put together a stellar cast for the film which includes names like Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and With ‘King’, SRK would be once again returning to the big screen after a two year hiatus. He was last seen on the big screen in 2023 where he delivered three back to back hits with ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ which saw him returning to cinema after a gap of 4 years. With this the message is clear: age is just a number and at 60, Shah Rukh Khan is still very much the reigning king of his domain.
