Enrique Iglesias has touched down in Mumbai for his long-awaited concert, marking his return to India after an impressive 13 years. The pop icon, warmly welcomed by eager fans and the media, is set to perform on October 29th and 30th at the MMRDA Grounds, responding to the soaring demand for tickets.

International pop star Enrique Iglesias is all set to enthral the audience in Mumbai, India, after 13 long years. For his highly anticipated concert, the singer-songwriter touched down in Mumbai today, well in time to get the show on the road.

Enrique Iglesias gets snapped as he arrives in Mumbai

Enrique was snapped arriving at the Kalina airport early Tuesday evening. He was seen donning a casual grey T-shirt with a cheeky graphic tee that read, ‘Party Naked’. He paired it with dark grey pants and shoes. The singer was also sporting a matching cap and sunglasses.He was greeted with loud cheers by the photographers stationed outside the airport gates. Enrique then went ahead to walk up to the men and shake their hands. He even greeted them with a ‘namaste’.Take a look:

More about his concert in Mumbai

The singer will be performing at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex on October 29 and 30. Reportedly, the plan was to host the concert for just one day—October 30th; however, the tickets got sold out as soon as the sale started, which prompted the organisers to add one more show—October 29th.Speaking about his show in India, Enrique said, “I’ve missed performing in India; the fans there are some of the most loyal and passionate in the world. Since my first show back in 2004, the love has always been unreal. I can’t wait to get back to Mumbai and bring them this new show.”

Enrique Iglesias’ previous trip

The singer hosted concerts in cities like Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru as part of his Euphoria Tour in 2012.In 2019, Enrique shared a video from his trip to India on Instagram. He captioned the post, “One of my favourite places in the world! I love you #India… can’t wait to be back!! #TBT.”According to various reports, the singer will be treated to the best Indian cuisine and will also party it up with Bollywood stars.
