'I am not sale': Shashi Tharoor hits back at troll accusing him of 'paid review' for Aryan Khan's The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Shashi Tharoor lauded Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood,’ calling it a masterpiece. When a troll accused him of a paid review, Tharoor firmly responded, stating his opinions are not for sale. He praised the series’ sharp writing, fearless direction, and witty satire, congratulating Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan.

After Shashi Tharoor posted a glowing review of Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, a troll accused him of writing a ‘paid review’. The politician shut down the accusation with a fitting reply.

Tharoor gives a sharp reply to troll

After Tharoor shared a positive review of the series, a troll commented, “Shashi Tharoor’s new side business — paid reviews.” But the senior politician didn’t stay silent and gave a sharp reply. Tharoor replied, “I’m not for sale, my friend. No opinion I express has ever been paid for by anybody, in cash or in kind.”

Tharoor praises Aryan Khan’s debut

Earlier, taking to his X handle, Tharoor wrote, ‘I’ve been battling a cold & cough and cancelled engagements for two days. My staff and my sister, @smitatharoor, persuaded me to turn my eyes away from the computer part of the time towards a @NetflixIndia series, and it’s one of the best things I have ever treated myself to: absolute #OTT GOLD.’

Calls the series ‘a masterpiece’

He further added, ‘Just finished watching Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and I’m left grasping for words of praise.
