Malaika Arora shuts down trolls age-shaming her and calling 'buddhiya'; calls son Arhaan Khan her 'biggest supporter'

Actress Malaika Arora, known for her candidness and fearless personality, recently spoke out about dealing with trolls and online age-shaming. In an interview she addressed being labeled “buddhiya” and the emotional impact it can have. “For me ‘buddhiya’. I mean how can you even say something like that to somebody. Kabhi Kabhi ye trigger karta hai, because bahaut hi insensitive hai. Because they see only that (brave) persona. They’ll see ‘khush lag rahi hai’ but they don’t realise that there are so many things that can actually trigger you, upset you,” Malaika said during a chat with Pinkvilla. Despite the hurtful remarks, she emphasizes that trolls often misread her confident image without understanding the full context of her life.

‘I will prove to you that I can be better’

Malaika revealed how she channels negativity into motivation. “I feel that you should take these things as examples where you want to turn around and say ‘people go ahead to say what you want to say, I will be better than that’. I will prove to you that I can be better and I can probably do anything and everything under the sun,” she explained.

Son Arhaan: Biggest supporter

Malaika also opened up about the role of her son Arhaan Khan in her life, calling him her “biggest supporter.” She shared, “He’s always like ‘what’s the big deal mom, if somebody’s saying that it’s fine. Why are you letting it affect you or upset you?’” His encouragement helps her reset her mindset and move forward positively. On a different note, Malaika has been dropped as a witness in Saif Ali Khan’s 2012 Taj Hotel case, after failing to support the prosecution.Meanwhile, on the work front, Malaika was ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’.
