Malaika on plans of second marriage after divorce with Arbaaz

Malaika Arora opens up on plans of second marriage after divorce with Arbaaz Khan, here's the advice she would give to her younger self: 'I'm a hardcore romantic'

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan tied the knot in 1998, when Malaika was around 25 years old. Four years later, in 2002, they welcomed their son Arhaan Khan. After 18 years of marriage, the couple announced their separation in 2016, with their divorce being finalised in 2017. While Arbaaz has since remarried Sshura Khan, many wonder if Malaika, too, is open to marriage again. In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Malaika shared that she isn’t against the idea. Reflecting on her past, she also revealed the advice she would give her younger self: “I would have said, ‘Take your time to get married.’ I would have told my younger self that, definitely. It is (a huge commitment) and ladkiyaan pata nahi kya… itni jaldi shaadi karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Thoda bohot kaam karlo, thoda understand karlo life ki journey and then take that plunge- which I was… very young when I got married.”When asked if she sees marriage again in her future, Malaika responded, “Never say never. Like I said, I’m a hardcore romantic. I believe in love. I believe in all things about love. So, never say never.” Her words left fans excited, with many speculating whether romance could be on the horizon once more, especially after her split with Arjun Kapoor. Last year, Arjun confirmed the breakup after nearly six years together. While promoting Singham Again, he told the crowd in a viral video, “Abhi single hoon main, relax.” Although neither he nor Malaika had openly addressed their separation before, reports had hinted for months that they had “run their course” as a couple, though they continued to respect each other’s privacy.Arjun and Malika have remain friends after their break up. He was also there by her side when her father passed away last year.
