Sonal Chauhan, widely recognized for her performance in the movie ‘Jannat’, has been confirmed as a new member of the cast for ‘Mirzapur: The Film’. Though speculation about her involvement had been circulating recently, she officially announced it through an Instagram post. Its intense exploration of themes such as power struggles, revenge, and politics in Uttar Pradesh’s heartland has turned it into a cultural sensation. Director Gurmmeet Singh is now transforming this acclaimed web series into a full-length feature film—the first of its kind in India. Produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, the movie will bring back most of the original cast except Vikrant Massey.
