Britney CHASED by paparazzi; fans say ‘leave her alone’

Britney Spears 'CHASED' by paparazzi amid Kevin Federline memoir launch?Angry fans say 'leave her alone'

Pop icon Britney Spears found herself at the centre of yet another media frenzy. The singer, who has been spending her time away from the spotlight after the end of her conservatorship, was back in the headlines this week following revelations made in ex-husband Kevin Federline’s tell-all memoir.

Britney’s video goes viral

The star, was spotted on a night out with a friend on Thursday. However, a video circulating online shows the ‘Toxic’ singer, leaving a restaurant with a friend before being surrounded by photographers. Britney slipped behind the wheel of her black BMW. Eyewitnesses told Daily Mail that Spears appeared flustered amid the chaos and was seen driving erratically, swerving into opposite lanes, as she made her way toward her home in Thousand Oaks. While various news reports claimed that the singer’s behaviour was concerning, fans soon sprang to defend her. Many took to their handles to slam the paparazzi for ‘chasing’ the singer, reminiscent of her past experiences. “Haven’t we learned anything?” A fan asked.

Fans defend Britney

“It’s not 2007 anymore why are we following Britney Spears INTO restaurants then initiating a car chase,” another asked. “A man chased Britney Spears in a car AT NIGHT all the way to her HOUSE, and want us to take their side,” wrote another in a tweet while one commented, “She’s a new woman now. She is living her best life. Stop chasing her.”The clip was particularly concerning for fans, who shared their concern for the star’s safety during this time, as Federline gets ready to reveal details about their marriage.

Kevin Federline’s memoir

A source close to the situation claimed the book has “reopened old wounds,” sending Britney into a difficult emotional spiral. “It’s been rough. Everything being dragged back into the headlines is taking a toll,” the insider said. In a memoir to be released Tuesday, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline documents his difficult years as husband, ex-husband, and co-parent with Spears, who wrote her own memoir in 2023. Federline’s includes some salacious stories and some potentially disturbing details about her behavior that have already made headlines.

Britney’s reaction to the book

Spears responded with a statement on her social media accounts. She said Federline has engaged in “constant gaslighting.” She said, “Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I’m the only one who genuinely gets hurt here.” Go to Source
