In a thrilling announcement that sent waves through the film industry, Vivek Oberoi has joined the cast of the highly anticipated film ‘Spirit’, featuring the captivating Prabhas and directed by the talented Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Vivek shared his enthusiasm on social media, expressing how thrilled he is to collaborate with Prabhas—one of cinema’s most revered figures.

The makers of ‘Spirit’, starring Prabhas in the lead role, dropped the ‘sound-story’ of the film on the actor’s 46th birthday. The clip not only gave fans a tease of the dialogues, but also the cast. Soon after the drop, Vivek Oberoi took to his handle to share the big surprise and confirm his casting in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

Fans of ‘Rebel Star’ Prabhas, soon to to social media to welcome Oberoi to “Rebelwood” a new term their coined up. A netizen wrote, “Good to see you back and with such a huge project. Best wishes. Been a fan since Saathiya.” Another one added, “Welcome to Rebelwood.” A comment read, “Welcome to Rebelwood, sir.” One a person wrote, “Waiting for epic face-off.”

The movie made headlines after Deepika Padukone, who was cast as the female lead in the movie, exited the project, reportedly due to a fallout with filmmaker Vanga over remuneration and work hour issues.
