'Jatadhara': Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu shot the climax non-stop for 24 hours over three days

Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu are gearing up for the release of their much-anticipated supernatural thriller ‘Jatadhara’, hitting theatres in Hindi and Telugu on November 7, 2025. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the film promises a thrilling mix of mythology, black magic, ancient curses, and a mystic treasure hunt.

Climax sequence filmed non-stop for 25

The most talked-about part of ‘Jatadhara’ is its climactic sequence, which was shot non-stop for 24 hours over multiple days. As reported by IANS, lead actors Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha pushed themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally to bring the high-stakes finale to life. The team called it “one of the most challenging ever mounted,” featuring elaborate sets and intricate choreography.

Makers hail actors’ extraordinary commitment

Producer Shivin Narang shared insights into the demanding schedule. He said, “The climax is the soul of Jatadhara, it’s where two powerful forces of light and darkness collide. We wanted it to feel raw, real, and larger than life. What Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha have done is beyond dedication, it’s devotion.”Narang added, “They shot continuously for 24 hours over three days, giving everything physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s one of the toughest, most ambitious climaxes you’ll ever see on the big screen.”

After watching the trailer, Sonakshi’s husband Zaheer Iqbal expressed his admiration on Instagram. ‘Jatadhara’ trailer begins with a dark voiceover telling the story of an ancient forbidden ritual called Pisacha Bandhanam, which traps evil spirits to protect hidden treasures. Sudheer Babu plays the protagonist, a sceptic who does not believe in ghosts. He wants to prove that the supernatural is not real.But things take a terrifying turn when a greedy man accidentally awakens Dhana Pisachi, played by Sonakshi Sinha, a powerful spirit driven by revenge and greed.
