Arshad Warsi spills the beans about ‘Munna Bhai 3’

In an interview with SCREEN, Arshad Warsi was asked about the third installment. The actor shared that the film was not on the cards at all earlier. He said, “See, with part 3, the thing is that once it was not happening at all, but now Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) is actually working on it. He is seriously working on it, and it seems like it should happen now.”

In the same interview, Arshad Warsi said, “Sanju is just mind-blowing; he is a different kind of talent altogether. It used to be so much fun just being with him.”The actor shared that he is very bad at remembering scripts and the entire storyline of the movie. However, Arshad stated that for Sanjay Dutt, he had to remember the whole story just so that he could remind him. Arshad revealed, “Every day he used to show up and ask, ‘Bro, what are we doing today?’ And then I used to tell him that we are doing this scene today, we did that scene yesterday, the scene preceding is that one, the one that follows has this, and so on.” Well, it looks like every filmmaker wants to ride on the nostalgia trend, as all of them are reviving the cult classics or adding a new installment to the original movie. The audience has witnessed the trend with ‘Gadar 2’. Meanwhile, there are movies that are in the making right now. The list includes ‘Border 2’, ‘Hera Pheri 3’, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ (Welcome 3), ‘No Entry 2’, and now ‘Munna Bhai 3’.
