Industry analyst Sacnilk reported that the film collected Rs 24 crore net on its first day in India, followed by a strong Rs 18.6 crore on day two. Continuing this momentum, the movie’s total earnings reached Rs 55.10 crore within three days. On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the horror-comedy registered a 19.38% occupancy rate for Hindi screenings, with morning shows attracting 7.52% audience, afternoons rising to 19.35%, and the highest turnout seen during evening and night shows at 25.52% and 25.14% respectively. Star-studded cast and unique premiseThe film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, stars Ayushmann as Alok and Rashmika in the role of Tadaka. Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrays Yakshasan, the dark king who challenges their love story. Adding to the film’s appeal, Malaika Arora delivers a captivating performance in a special dance number called ‘Poison Baby’. Produced by Maddock Films, this horror comedy also features Paresh Rawal, Geeta Aggarwal and Faisal Malik, who provide moments of comic relief amid the suspense. Set in an imaginary world, the movie weaves a “bloody” tale of romance, thrill, and mystery.
