Tragic Bus Fire in Andhra Pradesh Kills 12; Multiple Accidents and Incidents Reported Across India

A horrific accident occurred late Thursday night when a private Volvo passenger bus traveling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad caught fire after colliding with a motorcycle. The bus, carrying 42 passengers, was completely gutted in the blaze. According to initial reports, 12 people have died and 15 others sustained serious injuries. Firefighters managed to control the flames, but by then, the bus was reduced to ashes. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the tragedy and directed officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured.In another incident in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, a bus traveling from Gurugram to Bihar met with an accident after hitting a stationary truck. Several passengers sustained injuries; all were returning home to celebrate Chhath Puja.Meanwhile, in Siddharthnagar (U.P.), tension erupted during a murti visarjan (idol immersion) procession after alleged stone-pelting by a particular group. The situation was brought under control after police intervention.In Mumbai, a fire broke out in a party hall, while in Basti (U.P.), an argument between police and a student over an unnecessary challan went viral on social media.Separately, a leopard attack in a residential area near a forest left locals in shock after CCTV footage captured the big cat hunting dogs.
