In an interview with India Today, Arshad Warsi said, “I feel we don’t take chances anymore. We just don’t. Especially in Hindi cinema—we try to play it as safe as possible.”He added that there is currently a trend of making superhero-style films, but noted that a movie like Saiyaara succeeded at the box office despite being a simple love story. “It was just a regular love story, but it worked because they took a chance. No one expected that. Two new actors, a simple love story—and yet, it connected,” he said.

Warsi also pointed out that while many films are being made, only a few manage to perform well commercially. “The math is clear,” he said.Referring to his iconic role as Circuit in the Munna Bhai series, he added, “If we were really coming out with great scripts, we’d have so many hits.
