Park Bom REACTS to Trillion Won lawsuit

Park Bom DENIES Trillion Won lawsuit against Yang Hyun-suk; singer focusing on recovery

Yang Hyun-suk, Park Bom

Park Bom, former member of ‘2NE1’, has firmly denied recent rumors of suing Yang Hyun-suk, YG Entertainment’s former head producer. Her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, stated on October 23 that all financial settlements related to Park Bom’s activities with ‘2NE1’ have been completed. Despite a suspicious legal document shared by Park Bom herself on social media claiming a lawsuit for alleged fraud over unpaid profits, the agency confirmed no formal complaint has been filed. The amount mentioned was an astronomical figure written as “100200300400600700100003464272e trillion won,” adding to the confusion. Park Bom has halted all activities due to health issues and is focusing entirely on treatment and recovery, the agency emphasized. Following ‘2NE1”s reunion and a 15th anniversary world tour last year, the popular singer stopped her activities in August owing to worsening health conditions. Yonhap News reports that her fans and the industry are closely watching for updates on her recovery.

Legal confusion sparks online buzz

Park Bom openly posted a document claiming a lawsuit against Yang Hyun-suk for fraud related to unpaid earnings from group activities, sparking heated discussion. However, the official stance from her agency directly contradicted this, clarifying no lawsuit was underway. This discrepancy has raised questions about the motives behind the post and the actual status of financial issues concerning her past group activities.

Health takes priority amid turmoil

The agency stressed that Park Bom is currently dedicating herself to regaining her health, pausing all professional work. The intense pressures from the music comeback and unresolved past conflicts seem to have taken a toll on the singer, whose fans worldwide are sending messages of support.

Legacy and future uncertain

With ‘2NE1’ fans still hopeful for stable activities, the news both reassures and worries them. While legal battles with influential figures like Yang Hyun-suk remain unconfirmed, Park Bom’s well-being has emerged as the pivotal concern for now.
