Renault Group Q3 2025 revenue rises 6.8% to €11.4 billion

Renault Group on Thursday reported a 6.8 per cent rise in group revenue for the third quarter of 2025 to €11.4 billion, compared with the same period last year. At constant exchange rates, the increase was 8.5 per cent. Automotive revenue grew by 5.0 per cent to €9.8 billion, up 6.8 per cent at constant exchange rates.

For the first nine months of 2025, group revenue reached €39.1 billion, up 3.7 per cent from the same period in 2024. Automotive revenue totalled €34.3 billion, up 1.7 per cent, the company’s statement said.

Renault Group confirmed its 2025 financial outlook, projecting an operating margin of around 6.5 per cent and free cash flow between €1.0 billion and €1.5 billion.

“In a highly challenging environment, we continue to capitalise on our competitive line-up, driving a 6.8 per cent increase in group revenue this quarter. We confirm our full-year guidance,” said Duncan Minto, Chief Financial Officer, Renault Group.

Sales performance

In the third quarter of 2025, Renault Group sold 529,486 vehicles, a 9.8 per cent increase compared to the same quarter in 2024. International sales rose 14.9 per cent, while European sales grew 7.5 per cent. Total sales for the first nine months reached 1,698,964 vehicles, up 3.8 per cent. All three automotive brands recorded growth during the period. Renault brand ranked third in Europe, with electric vehicles accounting for more than 20 per cent of its third-quarter sales. Renault 5 E-Tech led the B-segment electric vehicle category, and Clio ranked second among the best-selling cars in Europe.

Dacia continued its retail-focused approach, ranking second in European passenger car retail sales. The Sandero was the best-selling car across all channels in Europe, and hybrid sales represented 20.9 per cent of Dacia’s third-quarter volume.

Alpine’s sales more than doubled compared to the first nine months of 2024, reaching 7,394 vehicles.

Electrification growth

The electrified vehicle sales rose by 58.6 per cent in the first nine months of 2025, representing 43.9 per cent of total sales. In the third quarter, the electrified vehicle mix reached 44.0 per cent, up 10.8 points from the same period last year.

Renault Group maintained a healthy total inventory of 538,000 vehicles as of September 30, 2025 and reported high single-digit growth in order intake in Europe.

Upcoming launches for the fourth quarter of 2025 include the Renault Boreal (C-SUV), Renault Kwid E-Tech, Alpine A390 (C-SUV) and Renault Clio 6, with first deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
