Huma Qureshi couldn’t hide her pride as rumoured fiancé Rachit Singh made his debut in the much-anticipated film ‘Thamma’. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, marked Rachit’s first appearance on the big screen.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actress shared a heartfelt note celebrating his incredible journey from Banaras to Mumbai, where he arrived with nothing and no connections. She praised his ten years of hard work as an acting coach, saying, “For a boy from Banaras who came to Mumbai with nothing and knowing no one… So proud of you and this journey you have been on. Toiled for 10 years as an acting coach… learning, teaching, unlearning and building a community around you…”The ‘Badlapur’ actress further added, “And today is the first time you will be seen on the big screen in ‘Thamma’. One of the biggest films of the year. Just a testament of your hard work and resilience… This is just the first blood. Much more to follow. Higher and higher always.”

It was a close-knit affair that took place in the US. They are yet to decide when they want to make it official by announcing it publicly.”Whispers about Qureshi and Singh’s relationship first gained traction when their mutual friend, singer Akasa Singh, shared a candid photo with the two. She captioned it, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night,” instantly sparking curiosity and conversations among fans.

Rachit Singh’s role in ‘Thamma’ explained

In ‘Thamma’, Rachit Singh plays the role of Veeran, a member of the Betaal sect who idolises ‘Thama’ Yakshasan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and follows his orders diligently. His character comes into conflict with Rashmika Mandanna’s Tadaka, as she tries to protect Ayushmann Khurrana’s Alok from the dark forces of Yakshasan. Go to Source
