NEW DELHI: The Congress on Tuesday shared a video showing a man, allegedly UP BJP leader Vikul Chaprana, abusing another man and forcing him to kneel and apologise.Calling it the “true face” of the BJP, which governs Uttar Pradesh, the Congress demanded the immediate arrest of the individual involved.”Watch this video: The man hurling filthy abuses is BJP leader Vikul Chaprana. In a minor altercation over a car on the road, he got so furious that he hurled filthy abuses at the other person, made him rub his nose on the ground, and forced him to kneel and beg for forgiveness,” the grand old party posted on X. The Congress added that the abuser name-dropped “big names” to “show off his influence.””This is the true face of BJP—where leaders see themselves as kings and treat ordinary people like insects. This thug should be arrested,” it said.In the clip, the man is heard mentioning “Somendra Tomar.”On September 5, Dr Somendra Tomar, the local MLA and minister of state for energy in the UP government, had extended birthday wishes to Vipul Chakrana, identifying him as the vice president of the ruling party’s Meerut district Kisan Morcha (farmers’ front).
