In our conversation, as we were discussing the times when either he or his father had to pick work over celebrating the festival, Aarya Babbar said, “No, I don’t think papa or any one of us has ever picked up work during Diwali. None of us has ever picked up work during Diwali, I think that’s what the tradition is, you know, my mom and papa, I think, in all of us, that Diwali is a festival where everyone will see to it that they are together.” He further highlighted how the industry understands the importance of Diwali. “Even our industry, our film industry, respects Diwali, and I am not commenting about any other festival, but Diwali is given a level of importance and respect,” he said.
