'SYMMETRY': Ed Sheeran sings in Punjabi, courtesy Karan Aujla; English singer says he is excited to create more

Ed Sheeran collaborated with Karan Aujla for ‘Symmetry’ – and the song has been trending and living in the fans’ minds relentlessly, after the British singer sang in Punjabi language. Aside from the motto of the more you ‘Play,’ the more you groove, the singer expressed his gratitude to the Indian artists he collaborated with along the way for this album.

Ed Sheeran teamed up with Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla, Hanumankind, Santosh Narayan, Dhee, and Jonita Gandhi. Posting a clip of ‘Symmetry,’ he penned down a heartfelt note about each of the songs and the artists. Talking about the recent hit, he called Karan Aujla a ‘culture,’ adding that it’s so cool watching what he has built and becoming a part of his world. “He taught me the Punjabi bits on this song in the studio, and we got to shoot an amazing video for it too. I feel like this is the beginning of our collaborative journey. I’m so excited to create more,” he said in the caption.

Ed Sheeran appreciates Hanumankind, Arijit Singh, and Jonita Gandhi

Talking about Hanumankind, Sheeran revealed that he saw him at Coachella and has been obsessed with his energy ever since. Additionally, the ‘Shape of You’ singer revealed that he wanted to represent South India and the beautiful Tamil language, which they helped him achieve so impeccably. Furthermore, Ed opened up about Singh and Gandhi, the experts who swayed the audience with their voices. “I’m a fan. I love her voice, the tone, the softness,” Sheeran said about Jonita, and claimed that Arijit Singh is one of his favourite memories in his musical career. “The EP is out now, ive loved this collaboration process so much, I hope you enjoy it, and hopefully discover new things.
