Sunny Deol visits the prestigious Wagha Border, along with his son and daughter-in-law, Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya – the couple who witnessed the ceremony for the first time. The veteran actor shared the experience on his social media.

Deol posted a clip with the song ‘Apne,’ where he drove up to the venue and watched the proceedings along with the army officials. Furthermore, the Jawans explained to them about the important markings near the gates, and posed together for many photos. “Hindustan Zindabad! 🇮🇳💪Spending some time with our BSF friends at Attari Border and @imkarandeol and Drisha’s first time witnessing the ceremony,” he wrote in the caption.

About ‘Border 2’

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol gears up for ‘Border 2,’ the sequel to his patriotic film that echoes through the hearts. The film will be released on January 23, 2025, aligning with the Republic Day weekend. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and many more. The film is reportedly going to revolve around the Kargil war.

Sunny Deol sends prayers to Pankaj Dheer’s family

On Wednesday, Deol expressed his heartfelt condolences to Pankaj Dheer, the veteran actor who starred in ‘Border’ with Bobby Deol. With a black-and-white picture of them, the actor wrote, “Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of #PankajDheer ji. I knew him and was very close to him. He was a fine actor and an even finer human being. His contribution to cinema will always be remembered. My prayers are with his family. Om Shanti(sic).” Many celebrities and artists mourned the immense loss to the entertainment industry.
