You look like a rockstar from Hollywood. You used to look like you were from Nala Sopara… now you have changed.” With a smile, she added, “You look so nice, success is working for you.”Recollection of first acting opportunityDuring their talk, Raghav teasingly told Farah that she hadn’t made him a star like Dilip. Farah, surprised, replied, “What are you saying? Who got you your first acting audition?” Raghav then corrected himself, fondly saying, “Farah ma’am was the one who suggested I audition with casting director Anmol Ahuja for Satte Pe Satta. My audition shocked all the casting directors, which opened doors to more roles, including Kill and other films. ” Farah joined in, mentioning Satte Pe Satta, “Picture toh bani nahi par tu nikal pada! (The film didn’t happen, but you took off!)”Playful banter over drinksWhen Raghav arrived at Farah’s home, she asked him, “What do you want to drink?” He answered, “Coffee.” Farah teased, “Your Americano? Because now you no longer belong to Nala Sopara!” Laughing, Raghav responded, “Abhi main Ulhasnagar se Las Vegas mein aa gaya hoon! (I have gone from Ulhasnagar to Las Vegas now!)”Hollywood rockstar look and Arabic skillsImpressed, Farah asked, “Tell me about this Hollywood rockstar look!” When Raghav didn’t answer, she playfully nudged him, “Did this transformation happen after the success of Ba***ds of Bollywood?” Raghav replied humbly, “I don’t know! That show gave me a lot of recognition and appreciation.” Farah also praised his performance in the Aryan Khan series, especially a scene with Emraan Hashmi. She then asked with curiosity, “When did you learn Arabic?” Raghav chuckled, “Mostly while traveling. Sometimes my driver, Ram, would get startled when I suddenly started singing in Arabic!”Announcement of new house in DehradunLater in their talk, Raghav shared with pride, “I’m building a huge house in Dehradun. It’s a five-storey building.” He added that once it’s finished, he would invite Farah to shoot another video at his place. Farah then asked, “So do you live on rent in Bombay?” To which Raghav replied confidently, “Not at all! I own a house here!”Career journey and filmographyRaghav has been part of the industry for close to 15 years.
