‘Heaven’: Ed Sheeran collabs with Jonita Gandhi

Ed Sheeran collaborates with Jonita Gandhi on romantic track 'Heaven' for his remix EP

Following his unexpected collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh and Arijit Singh, Ed Sheeran perhaps decided he doesn’t want to stop! The international artist has joined with several Indian artists on different projects in a very short span of time. One of his recent releases, ‘Heaven’, also features his collaboration with an Indian artist, Jonita Gandhi, who gave vocals to the Hindi verses of the song. The track is now out and ready to take over the music charts.

Ed Sheeran X Jonita Gandhi’s ‘Heaven’

Coming from Ed’s latest remix EP, ‘Heaven’ is a soft romantic ballad, whose music tugs at the heart instantly. This is the first time Ed’s song has Hindi lyrics, and it is worth noting that they sync beautifully with the English verses, describing love and the beloved as the most beautiful element in the universe.

Speaking about the collab, Jonita, in her interview with Hindustan Times, stated, “My verse on the song expresses that feeling of knowing that you’re with ‘the one’. It’s super romantic and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

Jonita Gandhi is an Ed Sheeran fan

In her interaction, Jonita mentioned how it was an honor for her to work with Ed Sheeran, the artist she is a big fan of. “I have been such a huge fan of Ed’s for as long as I can remember, so getting to collaborate with him on this version of Heaven feels really special,” she told us. “After having the chance to meet him and even open for his concert earlier this year in India, I was blown away by how genuine and grounded he is — and how much he truly appreciates the music and culture here,” said Jonita, who opened the India concert for Sheeran.

Remix EP

This latest remix EP is an extension of Ed’s album ‘Play.’ This EP has more collaborations as Ed joined hands with Punjabi singer-songwriter Karan Aujla, rapper Hanumankind, and Tamil composer Santosh with his daughter Dhee. Go to Source
