Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas SPLIT; Couple end nine-month romance amid wedding buzz

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and actress Ana de Armas have reportedly ended their relationship after less than nine months of dating.The Sun reports that the pair, who were first romantically linked in February, have parted ways amicably after realising “the spark had gone.”

Better off as friends

A source close to the couple revealed to the portal, “Tom and Ana had a good time together, but their time as a couple has run its course. They are going to remain good friends, but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”

Break-up to affect Ana’s casting in Tom’s next?

The news of the alleged break-up comes at a time when reports of wedding prep have been doing the rounds. The surprise announcement also comes at a time when the two stars were reportedly set to star in a film together. According to an insider, despite the breakup, Tom and Ana are handling things maturely and will continue to collaborate professionally. “She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together,” the source confirmed.The pair are set to co-star in the upcoming supernatural thriller “Deeper,” which has reportedly been put on hold. They were also expected to team up again for another project with the working title “Pressure.”

Tom and Ana’s relationship timeline

Cruise, and de Armas, seemingly went public with their romance early this year when they were spotted holding hands during a Vermont getaway. They were also spotted jetting off to Madrid and London for romantic holidays. Their romance caught media attention when they were seen together on helicopter rides, piloted by Tom. Besides their private trips and helicopter rides, Tom and Ana were also seen attending David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration and an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium.
