Priyamani has NEVER been on talking terms with Vidya

‘I speak more to her father’: Priyamani reveals she has NEVER been on talking terms with cousin Vidya Balan

Did you know ‘Chennai Express’ fame actress Priyamani has a surprising Bollywood cousin? She and Vidya Balan are actually second cousins, yes, their grandfathers were brothers! However, despite this family connection, the actresses are not very close.

Priyamani reveals distant relationship with cousin Vidya

Talking to News18 Showsha, Priyamani opened up about how their connection works. She said, “We have never been on talking terms in that way even though we are related. However, I speak more to her father. Balan uncle is on a regular talking basis with me and when he can’t get through to me, he calls up my father and they chat up. Vidya Balan is a phenomenal actor, the mutual admiration is always there. I can’t wait for her to come back on screens. As an audience, I am really missing the powerful actor that she is.

Priyamani on the work front

Looking ahead, Priyamani is set to start shooting for ‘The Family Man’ Season 3 alongside Manoj Bajpayee. The popular series, created by Raj and DK, has a loyal fan following. Priyamani plays Suchitra, a key character in the series, and fans are eagerly waiting to see her back on screen.

Priyamani talks about Manoj Bajpayee

In another chat with India Today, talking about her co-star Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani described him as “extremely spontaneous.” She added, “He still surprises me every single time he comes on set. Be it any scene we do, even after all these years, he’ll always bring something unexpected. I genuinely thank my stars for having had the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful show and to work with Manoj sir. We’ve even worked together on a few ads, so now I can usually gauge his reactions. But at the same time, you still have to be on your toes because you never know what that man has up his sleeve!” Go to Source
