After burning the screens with songs like Chaiya Chaiya, Hooth Rasiley,Munni Badnam Hui , Anarkali Disco Chali and Kaal Dhamaal, Malaika Arora is back on the dance circuit with her latest song Poison Baby from Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmia Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thamma. The latest installment from the Horror-Comedy universe is releasing on 21st October on the occasion of Diwali. She’s matching step by step with Rashmika in the song and many netizens feel Malaika has completely outshined Rashmika in the song.
Talking about her latest dance number at its launch she said “It’s been years since I led a full-blown dance number like this in a film, and stepping into ‘Poison Baby’ felt electric. The choreography blends moves and expressions, and I wanted the performance to feel dangerous, beautiful, and untamed- all at the same time.”
In an exclusive interview with ETimes opens up about her son Arhaan and if there is a dance song of hers that her son loves, Malaika candidly shared, “I think he loves ‘Munni Badnam Hui,’ Usuallyhe’ll learn some dance steps and then show me. Then he’ll be like, ‘Come on, Mom, let’s do this together.’”
While this mother-son duo shares fun moments dancing together, Malaika humorously admitted that Arhaan doesn’t hold back from critiquing her moves. “And then he’ll make fun of me for the entire day. He’ll be like, ‘Please, you can’t dance like that..’” she said, laughingly .
Speaking about Arhaan’s dancing skills, Malaika beamed with pride, saying, “He’s a fab when he dances. He’s superb. Thank God, he’s got my dancing genes in him. He dances very well.”
