The BJP’s Central Election Committee has finalised most of its candidates for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, deciding not to give tickets to several sitting MLAs facing public dissatisfaction, while opening doors for new faces. The first list of BJP candidates is expected on Monday, October 13. The NDA alliance in Bihar remains united, with Jitan Ram Manjhi expressing satisfaction over the arrangement and his son receiving a key state department. Despite past electoral losses, Upendra Kushwaha continues to enjoy NDA support as a Rajya Sabha member. The seat-sharing deal allocates 101 seats each to BJP and JD(U), 29 to LJP, and six each to HAM and RLM.
