Malvika Raaj, famous for young Poo in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, and husband Pranav Bagga welcomed their daughter on August 23. They named her Mahara during Dussehra celebrations, sharing the first photos on Instagram. The couple married in Goa in November 2023 after a decade-long relationship.

Malvika Raaj, known for playing the young version of Kareena Kapoor’s character Poo in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, recently became a mother for the first time with her husband Pranav Bagga, on August 23. She joyfully shared the birth of their baby girl on her social media. After 40 days, the couple chose a name for their daughter, announcing that they named her ‘Mahara’ to coincide with the festive celebrationsof Dussehra.

On Friday, Malvika and Pranav gave fans a first look at their baby girl, Mahara, through Instagram. They posted photos from their Dussehra festivities and shared, “40 Days of MAHARA On the auspicious day of Dussehra, we officially named our Baby Girl! #namingceremony #Mahara #Maharani #babygirl #ourangel #ourqueen #mydoll.” Interestingly, Malvika’s necklace bearing Mahara’s name, along with the dupatta she wore, also displayed her daughter’s name, which caught everyone’s attention.

Malvika Raj shares pictures from the baby naming ceremony

The first photo features Malvika and Pranav holding their daughter Mahara during the naming ceremony, dressed in coordinated ivory outfits with floral prints. Pranav gently cradles their baby, while Malvika looked at him affectionately. The baby’s face was hidden, but she wore a floral headband and was comfortably wrapped in a swaddle. In the second image, the actress from ‘K3G’ is seen cradling her daughter, beaming with a smile.

In August, the couple announced the arrival of their baby girl with a joint post. The duo shared a charming pink-themed poster decorated with balloons, featuring the words, “Pink bows, tiny toes and a love that overflows. Welcome to the world baby girl. 23.08.2025. Malvika And Pranav.” Alongside it, the new parents captioned, “From our Hearts to our Arms, Our Baby Girl is Here #babygirl #ourworld #babybagga.”
