‘Modi-a-bindu’: BJP’s ‘diagnosis’ for Rahul Gandhi; labels him ‘henchman of anti-India forces’

‘Modi-a-bindu’: BJP’s 'diagnosis' for Rahul Gandhi; labels him ‘henchman of anti-India forces’

NEW DELHI: BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi on Friday launched an unusual jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying he is suffering from “Modi-a-bindu.”By ‘Modi-a-bindu’, Trivedi explained, he meant someone who is blind to or unwilling to see the development taking place under PM Modi’s rule.Speaking at EIA University in Medellín, on Thursday in Colombia, Rahul Gandhi claimed that “Indian democracy is under attack” and also that “India doesn’t manufacture.” On being asked about the opposition leader in Lok Sabha and his comments, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said: “The one who has got ‘Modi-a-bindu’ in their eyes cannot see all this manufacturing in the country. That means the mentality of opposing PM Modi has become so strong that one stops seeing the truth, and the INDI alliance, which may have India in its name but does not have India in its heart, has caught ‘Modi-a-bindu’.”During a press conference, Trivedi said PM Modi is the “biggest symbol of democracy,” and that Rahul is going against him.”There cannot be anything more ridiculous and ironic than those who kept the monarchy alive by wearing the cloak of democracy for 100 years, giving a speech in a democracy, and that too against the biggest symbol of democracy, PM Narendra Modi,” the BJP MP said.Trivedi’s comments come after Rahul Gandhi took a swipe at the Narendra Modi government, asserting that the biggest challenge India is witnessing is the attack on its democracy. “India has strong capabilities in areas like engineering and healthcare, so I am very optimistic about the country. But at the same time, there are also flaws in the structure that India has to correct. The biggest challenge is the attack on democracy taking place in India,” Gandhi said.Trivedi claimed that Rahul has become the “henchman of anti-India forces” and has a “habit” of speaking abroad.”Even after being ruled by the same family for 100 years, panicking by the downfall of their organisation and loss of power, the head of that family, who today seems to be becoming the henchman of anti-India forces, has, as per his habit, made another statement from foreign soil, which is not surprising,” said BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi.
