‘Nikka Zaildar 4’ box office collection day 1: Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer opens with Rs 1 crore on Thursday

The Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer ‘Nikka Zaildar 4’ made it to the big screens on October 2nd, 2025. Released on the festive occasion of Dusshera and Gandhi Jayanti, the movie witnessed a good opening day despite high competition from Bollywood and other regional releases. According to Sacnilk, with an impressive occupancy rate, the movie collected Rs 1 crore in the domestic market.

Directed by Simerjit Singh, the Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer is a comedy drama. The film, carrying forward the ‘Nikka Zaildar’ franchise, collected Rs 1 crore on its opening day. The movie had an overall 22.76% Punjabi occupancy on Thursday. Here’s a breakdown of day 1 occupancy:Morning shows: 9.10%Afternoon shows: 28.34%Evening shows: 27.51%Night shows: 26.07%Coming to occupancy in major regions, NCR recorded the maximum footfall with 26.75%. Following very closely behind is Chandigarh with the occupancy of 26%. The third on the list is Ludhiana with 22% occupancy.

‘Nikka Zaildar’ is one of the most loved comedy franchises of the Punjabi entertainment world. This fourth installment features Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in the lead. The plot revolves around a man who is against alcohol, but gets married to a woman who has an addiction problem. Alongside the lead cast, the movie sees Nirmal Rishi, Sonia Kour in key roles, and Nisha Bano, Sukhi Chahal, B.N. Sharma, Anita Devgn, Gurmeet Saajan, Parminder Gill, and more in pivotal characters.The movie was initially scheduled to release on September 12, 2025. However, in the wake of the Punjab floods, the team decided to postpone the release. With a note that read – “The entire team of Nikka Zaildar 4 has decided to postpone the release of the film to 2nd October 2025 due to the unforeseen severe flood situation in several areas of Punjab. We believe that it is our duty to stand by the people of Punjab during these tough times.”
