Kia India on Wednesday reported domestic sales of 22,700 units in September 2025, reflecting a 15.8 per cent month-on-month growth compared to 19,608 units in August 2025.

The automaker sold 206,582 units in the first nine months of 2025, up 7.2 per cent year-on-year against 192,690 units in the same period last year, signalling steady growth amid improving market conditions.

According to the company, sales momentum was supported by the recent GST reforms, which streamlined taxation and offered direct financial benefits to buyers. Combined with the onset of the festive season, these measures have lifted consumer sentiment and strengthened demand across Kia’s product portfolio, which includes the Sonet, Carens, Carens Clavis, Seltos, Syros, and Carnival.

“September 2025 marks a significant milestone for Kia India, driven by the positive impact of GST reforms and festive season demand,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India. “The streamlined taxation framework has enhanced affordability and encouraged stronger customer engagement across our product portfolio. This robust growth reflects the enduring trust customers place in our brand, the strength of our innovative lineup, and our commitment to delivering superior mobility solutions.”

On the export front, Kia India shipped 2,606 units in September, reinforcing its growing international presence and focus on diversifying markets beyond India.

The company said it remains focused on delivering value-driven, sustainable mobility solutions tailored to Indian consumers, integrating advanced technology and eco-friendly performance in its upcoming models.
