Shraddha Kapoor, who boasts of 94 million followers on Instagram, never fails to impress her fans with her quirky, funny and interesting posts and yesterday was no exception.The actress took to her picture-sharing site to share a throwback picture of herself from Holi. in the photo, Shraddha is seen dressed in a blue ethnic outfit with her face smeared with vibrant Holi colours. She is also sported her big bautiful smile for the camera. Kapoor captioned the image, “Haan Holi Ki Photo 6 mahine late daal rahi hoon. Kya Kar Loge? (Yes, I am posting this picture from Holi six months later. What will you do?)”On the work front, she was last seen in Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2. The film also starred Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles. The film also had special appearances from Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar.Shraddha also recently surprised fans at the teaser launch of Thamma. The actress announced an upcoming animated film called Choti Stree, based on her popular character from the franchise.According to Pinkvilla, Shraddha is all set to star in Laxman Utekar’s female-led period drama. She will play one of the most important characters from the history of Maharashtra, bringing forth the Maharashtrian culture to the national level. She will be attending several dancing workshops to learn proper skills. She will also be taking some singing lessons to prepare for the part. We hear that the film will be mounted on a big scale, and is based on a novel, the details of which have been kept under wraps for now. The film goes on floors in November in 2025, and will release towards the end of 2026. These are tentative timelines, and a lot depends on the pace of pre-production as the idea is to recreate the era gone by with perfection.
