The official BCCI Women’s Twitter account shared a video of Ghoshal in the dressing room. The team crooned along to her famous song, ‘Piyu Bole’ from ‘Parineeta’. As reported by Economic Times, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that renowned singers Shreya Ghoshal and Papon will perform at the opening ceremony of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 in Guwahati on September 30. The ceremony will also feature a special performance by the Shillong Chamber Choir. In a heartfelt tribute, the event will honour the late Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, who recently passed away in Singapore.
