The footage shows the man grabbing his bicycle and sprinting off as several ICE agents shout and give chase. At one point, an officer can be heard yelling, “Get him!” Despite their pursuit, the rider manages to evade the group. The clip quickly gained traction online, with many users mocking ICE’s failed chase. One joked, “The @ChicagoBears need to sign this guy for Special Teams,” while another quipped, “S**t we can’t afford bicycles for ICE??” Others praised the rider’s escape skills, with a post reading, “Now that’s a Chi-town biker. Neither rain nor snow nor ICE… stops us.”Not all reactions were supportive, however. Some questioned the user’s framing of the incident, with one commenting, “‘Verbal comments’ you mean threats to federal law enforcement officers?”Others seized the moment to take a jab at ICE, criticising its agents’ fitness levels. “Look at them! None of these fatsos are catching up to whatever has came in through the border,” one post read. Another mocked, “He escaped, ICE is frozen.”The video has added to ongoing debates about immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, with some seeing it as a symbol of resistance and others highlighting concerns about law enforcement being taunted.
