Sufi Motiwala: Younger men in B’town need to rethink their style

Sufi Motiwala’s fashion verdict: Says younger men in Bollywood need to ‘seriously rethink their style’

The world of lights, camera and action demads more than what meets the eye. Being under the media scrutiny 24×7 does have its own challenges. For instance, one is required to look his best round the clock, and a lot of stars have nailed this game. However, according to Sufi Motiwala, one of the newest addition to the entertainment world, and fashion expert, believes, that there are many in the industry who need to ‘rethink’ their style game.

Sufi Motiwala feels the younger generation needs to reevaluate their fashion choices

While speaking to News18, Sufi Motiwala didn’t take any name in particular, but emphasised that the younger generation of Bollywood needa someone to style and accessorise them. He expressed his disappointment on actors not getting the right styling inspiration.“I think some of these boys need to seriously rethink their style. They should find someone, a femme fatale diva, who really gets it, someone who can accessorise them properly,” he said before adding, “Why aren’t they taking inspiration from people like Jacob Elordi? Why aren’t we seeing that kind of styling in India yet? I really miss that.” He made it clear that he is talking about the men of the industry, “all of them, the youngsters, no particular names, just the whole group.”

Sufi Motiwala gushes over Rekha’s evergreen style

Many might think that no one is immune to Sufi’s critical judgement, but it seems he is a fan boy too. The 21 year old fashion content creator turned actor shared heartfelt praise for ‘Umrao Jaan’ star Rekha and her style. “I think a celebrity who will never go wrong with her style is Rekha ji, because she has continuously evolved in her style. Just look at the fabrics, the designs, everyone today takes inspiration from her. Whatever brief comes her way, she can simply do it in her own unique way, and it will always be iconic,” he said.

Sufi Motiwala’s projects

After establishing himself as a content creator, he made his web series debut with Karan Johar’s celebrity reality show ‘The Traitors.’ Thereafter, he was most recently seen in ‘Do Yo Wanna Partner,’ which marked his acting debut. Go to Source
