Netflix Show On Aryan Khan Faces Backlash As Officer’s Wife Calls Out ‘Mockery’ Of Drugs

Speaking to News18 Showsha, Sahher said, “We were all laughing. That was the first time the cast read the script together, and after every third line, there was some witty or funny moment. Even on set, we couldn’t stop laughing between cuts.”

Favourite characters and on-screen chemistry

Among the other interesting characters in the series, Sahher admits that her favourite character is Shoumik, her brother in the series. She said that Shoumik isn’t based on any real actor and is a totally fictional character and she has never met anyone like him. She also highlighted the performance of Divik Sharma, who plays Shoumik. “He’s the total opposite of the character—sweet, reserved, and quiet—but he pulled it off brilliantly. Everyone kept asking, ‘Who’s this guy?’” Sahher credits the strong chemistry among the cast and clever writing for making these characters so memorable. Aryan Khan’s witSahher attributes much of the humour on and off set to Aryan Khan. She describes him as “the funniest person in any room” with a knack for unexpected jokes and self-deprecating humour. She recalls scenes like the Maheep Kapoor–Shanaya Kapoor red carpet moment, where Aryan pokes fun at himself, and how his spontaneous humor often led to ten-minute-long laughing fits during filming. Sahher applauds Aryan and the creative team for writing jokes that allowed the cast to laugh at themselves while keeping the audience entertained. With its meta jokes, Bollywood satire, and offbeat humour, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood* has become more than just a web series—it surely showcases that Aryan Khan is here to stay!
