Anya Singh calls Aryan Khan a 'shy but warm person' who does not carry the baggage of being Shah Rukh Khan's son: 'He holds his own'

Aryan Khan may have just made his debut as a director with the Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, but he has already earned the admiration of his cast. Actor Anya Singh, who plays Sanya in the show, recently shared that Aryan was nothing like his public image and made sure everyone on set felt comfortable around him.Speaking with YouTube channel Mamaraazzi, Anya revealed that Aryan would always be smiling and maintained the same energy throughout the day. “He was never frazzled, always patient, very calm, and smiling a lot,” she said, adding that his enthusiasm kept the team motivated.

“A shy person, but very warm”

Anya went on to describe Aryan as a “shy person” who opens up once you get to know him. “He is a shy person, this is what I have understood of him, which is why he is not as open outside. But when you get to know him, he is a very warm person and someone who you can talk to about anything. He is not someone who gets offended, he doesn’t get upset,” she shared.She also pointed out that Aryan’s ability to take jokes on himself reflected his openness as a person. “If you can make a show like this where you can take jokes on yourself, you really can talk to him about everything without hesitation,” she added.

“He holds his own”

What impressed Anya the most was Aryan’s individuality and the fact that he does not carry the baggage of being Shah Rukh Khan’s son. “You know hesitation like he is my director, he is Aryan Khan or he is Shah Rukh Khan’s son, there is none of that. He holds his own and I really admire that,” she said.The Ba***ds of Bollywood also stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Bedi, Mona Singh and Sahher Bambba, among others.
