US President Donald Trump on Tuesday called China and India as the “primary funders” of the ongoing war in Ukraine, saying both countries continue to buy oil from Russia. At the same time, he criticised NATO nations for also failing to cut back on imports of Russian energy and related products.
Speaking at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Trump said he learnt about the continued purchases two weeks ago and called it “inexcusable”.
