US President Donald Trump on Tuesday made a light-hearted remark during his address at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, after discovering that the teleprompter was not working.

“I don’t mind making this speech without a teleprompter, because the teleprompter is not working,” Trump said, smiling as he addressed world leaders.

“I feel very happy up here to be with you nevertheless, and that way you speak more from the heart,” the US president added.

Trump then added with a grin, “I can only say that whoever is operating this teleprompter is in big trouble.”
