A Starbucks customer in Ohio was shocked to discover a hateful message written on her drink cup after ordering a beverage customized with conservative commentator Charlie Kirk’s name. The customer, Autumn Perkins, told Fox News Digital that she ordered a mint majesty with two honeys to go on Sunday evening from a Starbucks outlet inside a Kroger store. When she picked up her drink, she found the words “racist’s fav drink” scrawled across the cup in reference to Charlie Kirk.

“It’s time for people to stop this nonsense. I feel like Charlie stood for respect. We don’t have to agree on everything, but we respect each other. We can’t communicate and grow if we’re disrespecting each other,” Autumn Perkins told the outlet.

Employee Fired After Incident

The woman said she immediately spoke with the store manager, who confirmed that the employee admitted to writing the message and was subsequently fired. She said, “I would agree that people should be fired if they’re doing something like this.”

A Starbucks spokesperson condemned the incident, saying, “Writing this on a cup is unacceptable, and we have clear policies that prohibit negative messages to help preserve a welcoming environment.”

The incident comes in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s high-profile assassination. The 31-year-old conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot while answering a question during a campus event in Utah. A 22-year-old student from a Utah technical college has been charged with his murder. Investigators are still working to determine a motive.
